the old department of anatomy

yesterday i met up with niller at diku - department of computer science at copenhagen university where he studies. the buildings used to house the department of anatomy and there was a lot of remnants everywhere from that era. most notably was the two sculptures on top of the entrance buildings, the sinks and well a room called the “coffin room”. the auditoriums there were really beautiful and looked so 50’s. note also the easy to clean tile floor in the auditorium. they probably used to do autopsies in there. tomorrow i’ll post the images from the large auditorium.(i’m all into cliffhangers these days… ) hope you’re having a nice weekend

is it right above that auditorium? fits well to those round shapes in the room:)
i once lived for a while in one old factory that had round roof windows. it was such nice light that came from those.

the small auditorium was part of the building as i remember on ground level, whereas the large auditorium was lying next to the building but connected to it….hmm i’m exceptionally bad at navigating in places. the round window was in the cellar/hall moving towards the auditorium(must be the main building that you can slightly differenciate through the glass
