from a walk today…

we’re spending the weekend on the island samsø. simply lovely to get away from the city and just relax for a couple of days.

i’m considering new illustrations and new animals to draw. spring has moved into our apartment in the shape of branches ready to bloom, but outside it’s still freezing cold. in the first photo the content of my pocket since last weekend’s visit to the beach.

today is my birthday. i woke up to the most beautiful and crystal clear sunshine and after breakfast we went for a walk by the beach. what a great start to the day!

hello everybody - its been a while! i’m well but i’ve had a busy first month of 2011.

today i sat down and sorted all my 2010 photos. its been a year of great travels (switzerland, ukraine, poland, norway germany, sweden) , small and big events (getting married!), new acquaintances (NE’s sweet nieces) and a new hobby i never thought i would take up - knitting.

i hope you have had a great start to the year and i look forward to see what you have been up to lately.

that last photo really makes me long for summer…
