have you ever tried making jam? yesterday i had my first go at making jam. my favorite jam is with rhubarb and strawberry so i found a recipe for rhubarb/strawberry jam online and took it from there. it’s very easy and quick to make. next time i will try with less sugar though.

we are seeing family and friends over the holidays and accross the country.

next week is going to be busy, so i’m trying to take it easy with slow breakfast and no plans. thanks for all your comments to our basel post! NE is such a good people photographer. i’m trying to learn. i hope to be able to show you some of the film photos soon.

we had friends over for dinner tonight and had crayfish for starters. they look spectacular those red fellows and they taste great!

contemplating the world and whether elephants really do live in africa. we’ve had little guests and friends over for coffee today.

the first photo is of a parking space tag of some sort (seen in oslo). second photo is of the last two remaining pancakes from the pile of pancakes i made this sunday. oh well, two pancakes on a monday isn’t half bad. : )

our livingroom has been quite chaotic this weekend as i have been replacing our old bookshelf with a new one. i’ll show you some photos of the process tomorrow. hope you’re having a great sunday!

even more snow came tumbling down friday night making the streets quite chaotic. again NE was the photographer taking people photos. i have to get better at this! ida: maybe we should challenge eachother to do something about it : )

the old couple in the first photo we saw walking very slowly arm in arm down the street. i hope they made it home safely.

good morning, good morning!…well actually it’s past noon but we woke up late this saturday. breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day so i’m a big fan of BIG breakfasts.

we finally got the internet connection back last night - hope there will be no more trouble with it.

i spent yesterday baking with my two cousins and it really got me in the christmas mood! now i have a can full of delicious christmas cookies….they will probably be eaten before christmas though.
