sunday is the final day of the exhibition “china in transition” by the chinese video artist yang fudong. i’m going to miss it, but also look forward to the forthcoming exhibition with the american artist Kara Walker. here you can see some photos taken from the video work liu lan….the blurriness is caused by my camera.

i’m a sucker for dramatic lighting so here’s some photos i took thursday night crossing the new or relatively new pedestrian and bicycle bridge “bryggebroen” in copenhagen.
there’s so much to be inspired from when you browse around. i recently found Michael C. Hsiung’s site and was very impressed by his drawings. i did this bear drawing today between approx. 17.00 and 18.15 while it became dark outside.

today has been one of those mondays where nothing in particular happened…so on the picture side i’m retrieving to a drawing i did some time ago of a depressed looking polar bear.

here’s also a whale…

unfortunately i didn’t get a good shot of the nice old lady who had the wineyard and who let us taste all the different wines she was selling. the last three images are from that wine tasting.

this man looks so much like the frensh film maker jacques tati. he must have seen something really interesting…

we were in strasbourg for two days, the weather was fantastic and i just couldn’t get enough of the red and yellow leaves on the trees. autumn is the best season

tonight we got back from our very cool and relaxing road trip to strasbourg, alsace and heidelberg. these are all images taken from the back seat of the car. for some reason i really like taking pictures from the car window, it adds a moment of coincidence to the photo and there’s just something about the often half blurry look that’s appealing…i’ll post more images from the trip tomorrow..now sleep!
when i get back this friday or saturday….oh and by the way sorry about the design looking weird at the moment…something gone wrong in the css.
