our livingroom is in a state of chaos today as we are packing all our stuff for the bicycle trip. we bought a used bike for me as i only had a heavy old style ladies bikes before. actually it’s a 14 year old bike we’ve bought but it runs like a dream! we’re leaving tomorrow and i hope to bring back a lot of photos of our adventures to show you.

picnic with friends yesterday in beautiful nature just outside copenhagen. i love that the city has places like these very close by! tomorrow is my last day at work, then i have two weeks vacation. NE and i are going on a bicycle trip to poland and ukraine - i’m very exited about it.

breakfast this morning

the postman brought me an interesting package some days ago. it was from irene of såg ungefär ut så här. she send me some beautiful, beautiful prints - thanks irene! so very sweet of you, it really made my day. : )

these pictures are from this weekend. its hotter than i can ever remember and very humid. phew…we’ve been staying inside mostly planning the wedding (its our wedding invitations in the last photo) but also our vacation. i’ll tell you more about it soon!

NE and vilja

i have been for a short trip to lund this weekend - with NE, brinja, anders and their little girl vilja. boy is she cute! it was a bit of a last minute decision to go there and we had a great time, staying at lund’s train hostel enjoying the cosy atmosphere in the city and grilling food in the evening.

i got a surprise in the mail today and a great one! i’ll show you tomorrow.

hello everybody - it’s been a while! for some reason i haven’t picked up my camera much in the past weeks…

anyway wednesday was the evening of sankt hans, the celebration of midsummer which is also associated with the birth of john the baptist (in danish sankt hans). NE and i met up with some friends to celebrate the evening in the area called nokken, not too far from where we live. we grilled food, enjoyed the sun and the incredibly bright night.

since my zoo visit last weekend i have been trying to find a mate for the hiding red bird in the first photo. took the second photo on a walk along the waterfront this evening and noticed a strange relationship between the two photos.

couldn’t help but show you just a few more polar bear photos. they are such beautiful creatures! and i’m happy to know that the ones living in copenhagen zoo soon get a bigger and better enclosure.
