i can’t get over how 70s my contax film photos look, and especially this last light leaked film. something about the pale colors and the green/yellowish hue. i like it!

i’m taking a very slow saturday doing as little as possible. tonight i’m going to the cinema to watch the film “the road” with a friend. i’m really looking forward although i know it is not an uplifting story.

i long for spring! fingers crossed that the fast approaching march will bring spring. happy weekend everyone!

there’s still lots and lots of snow here. even more reason to stay indoors enjoying great coffee and some world wide web quality time.

i found this little doll in a thrift store the other day. there was no reason for me to buy it, but the intricate details on the doll’s clothes and the fact that it only cost 2 DKK. or less than one dollar made it impossible for me to leave it behind - although i really find dolls a little bit scary.

towers of books have been scattered all over our livingroom this weekend. now a new three-section bookshelf is in place and all the books have found their appropriate place to rest. brinja inspired me to display some old biscuit tins on the shelves as well.

our livingroom has been quite chaotic this weekend as i have been replacing our old bookshelf with a new one. i’ll show you some photos of the process tomorrow. hope you’re having a great sunday!

can’t wait to take another roll of film, almost forgot how much i like the colors and texture of film photography. thanks for the light leak tip CrowNology! i’ve realized that i need to take my camera to the repair shop. tomorrow is friday - finally!

i picked up my contax film today and found that allmost all the photos had traces of light leaks…hmmm don’t know what happened. some of them look nice and some just very red and weird. : ) here are one of the few photos without light leaks and one with a kind of pretty light leak. the top photo is taken in my parents back garden of a giant snow man/sculpture built by their neighbours. the sign on the barrel says GOLD.

funnily enough i still like the element of surprise when picking up a film - even though the film didn’t turn out well. you never know what to expect. more photos to come tomorrow!

layer cake is a personal favorite of mine

i’ve had the best weekend and birthday i could ever wish for. partying and celebrating with friends and family all weekend. i must admit i’m quite comfortable being 30. it was a little bit strange at first but now i like it! only wish i could celebrate a bit longer and keep the week at bay. but who am i kidding it’s already tuesday : )

i’ll be back tomorrow with some film photos. took a roll with my contax during the christmas holidays….i can hardly remember what’s on it (probably snow, snow and more snow)

today is my birthday - and i’m turning 30! it’s unbelievable….what a strange experience to turn 30. : ) i hardly feel like a grown up. so far it looks to be a great day. the sun is shining, i have the day off and later on celebration with friends. yay!

note: i have started on a new knitting project - same procedure as with the last one but this time with a different pattern in the top part and a much more vivid color.
