just had to show you this image taken by niller from his algorithm class. i don’t think i have ever seen a group of people looking more bored. at least three are sleeping and some are just about to. fantastic.

as i have mentioned before in a previous post, i like taking pictures from car windows and friday going to the funeral of my 89 year old grandfather (he lived a long and happy life) i took some pictures of the dim and grey scenery.

sunday i went to my cousins house to bake christmas cookies and man did we bake cookies! as you can se it was quite a production…meanwhile it began to snow - what more can you ask for? and maybe i should also add that we experimented a bit with different glazing techniques…some turned out greater than others.

today i read in an online newspaper that google has given access to the extensive photo archive of the american magazine life magazine. so far they have digitalized 2 million pictures from 1750 till today. the total will be 10 mio. so many great pictures - check it out!

so here is another drawing in what hopefully will become a series. my next one is going to be of a black bird. what i forgot to mention in my previous post is that allthough birds may look funny i also find them very beautiful.

this fabulous looking bird is photographed by my friend stine in copenhagen zoo. to me birds just seem to have something fundamentally funny about them…their feet, the way they look absolutely clueless and their dinosaur-like movements.

it has been a nice and quiet weekend with good food and good company but i have also had time to draw a bit. i like patterns at the moment and have been experimenting with various types of dots and lines today. if you recognize the bear in the picture, it’s because i used it in another illustration a while ago…but i think it works better in this context. hope you had a nice weekend…it went by so quickly.

yesterday my friend brinja asked me if i wanted to decorate an entire wall in her shop - what an opportunity i thought! i have to get cracking producing more graphics….at the moment i’m not really sure what direction i should take stylewise. that goes for this fox too, it’s not fully there yet.
