i’m drinking coffee and drawing polar bears on the computer today. the best thing to be doing on a sunday. (should be cleaning and doing laundry) listening to this perfect track by rosa lux and alberte called min club først.

i’m making new illustrations for brinja’s shop. trying out different techniques and styles. this weekend has been great - lots of sunshine and time to relax. i know next week will be busy but i intend to do some blogging as well. see you soon!
a little guest
so here’s a couple of photos from the opening in brinja’s shop. we borrowed a poster holder (not sure this word exists) from one of the neighbour shops, to place outside the shop. i kind of like the ice cream advertisement in combination with our poster. the photos are all taken with brinja’s camera and mostly by NE.
a couple of more photos from the exhibition. it’s kind of hard to photograph it well because of the reflecting light, so i have added two of the images in this post that has been altered slightly. the ever changing mushroom illustration now has a different colour and a small path has been added from one mushroom house to the other. the legless bird which was mint green before is now yellow but still legless…
oh almost forgot to mention - we are having a small opening on friday from 5 - 7 pm in brinja’s shop, islands brygge 21. you are most welcome blogreaders!…i guess only relevant for those of you who live in the copenhagen area. there will be wine and canapés of some sort.
as i mentioned saturday was the big day when brinja’s shop went through a drastic transformation with at new wall colour and my illustrations were mounted on the wall. brinja and anders painted the walls and meanwhile i framed the pictures and tried to arrange them somehow on the floor. more friends came along and helped with the mounting. there’s still some small ajustments to do tomorrow, so only a small peak now and more photos to come later.
i’m almost finished editing the illustrations that i made for the small exhibition in brinja’s shop. they will be printet tomorrow - exiting! i’m listening to the song “carousel” by iron & wine. the best stay up late song (okay actually it’s only 23.30 so not that late yet but a good song anyway)

as i mentioned in the previous post the birch tree drawing didn’t really seem right and visiting the blog elsewhere by louise i suddenly knew what to do with it. she has painted the most adorable panda and i thought that maybe a panda was just what the drawing needed! let me know if you prefer the squirrel version.
a quiet sunday of coffee & tv (hmm the title of a blur song….) and work on the computer. been drawing these small red birds and experimenting with the frame…
what i hope will be the final version of the fox drawing i did a sketch of about a week ago. hope you all had a great christmas. mine was just how i hoped it would be. a lot of good food, visiting family and playing games.
for some time now i have been working on a series of illustrations to be exhibited in brinjas shop on islands brygge - brinja københavn. i made this little display to see how they look together…i would say it needs more red. must.stop.using.mint.green.
