some more photos from the fourth film taken on a constructions site NE and i passed on our bicycles and had to take a closer look at. so interesting to see the raw walls and rough layouts of future buildings. often you get nice light conditions as well because of the open spaces.
note: today i got a postcard in the mail from someone i don’t know saying: “hi lea, we don’t know eachother, but i just wanted to tell you that i really like your blog” - thanks for the postcard and kind words anonymous : )

these photos are from my fourth film and again i couldn’t help but have the negatives scanned professionally as the result is so much better. they are taken in NE’s father’s kitchen last thursday i think it was. i really like this kitchen with all its blue colors and vintage feel.

the place i went to friday was a sports hall nearby called PRISMEN. it’s designed by the danish architect dorte mandrup and built in 2006. i really like the design of the building with the green interior and the semi transparent walls and ceilings that enables a lot of natural light to shine in. you can see the rest of the photos from this place on my flickr page.

i just got my third film back! this time i got the negatives scanned and put on a disc so i didn’t have to color ajust the night away due to my poor scanner. i took most of the film indoors at a special location…mystified? i’ll show you more from this place tomorrow. today NE and i have a couple from cambridge visiting us. do you know this community called hospitality club? i really like the concept - of hospitality towards people who visit your city and country and in return you meet new people and you also have the opportunity of staying with other hospitality club members when you are traveling.

here are the last ones from the second film taken on the main street of amager where i live. we have a lot of dodgy gamling places on this road. the sign in the second photo says “spillehal” meaning gamling place. i’m getting really hooked on this flickr thing. there’s so much to look at and explore! if only there was more time…
hope you have a nice weekend!

here are some detail photos i took in the appartement with the canonet. by the way a tip to those of you who live in copenhagen and shoot film - you can buy a pack of three fujifilm color iso 200 for 20 kr. (3.6 USD) in the wine and tobacco department of “superbrugsen” on christianshavn. very cheap…i felt really stupid for having paid 6 times as much in a photography store. i guess they are selling out becuase less people buy film now.

i got my second film back yesterday - now with sharpness! all these are taken on a trip to the park enghave parken placed in the western part of copenhagen. i really do photograph a lot of ducks these days. they are the perfect slow moving target for someone like me who take ages to set the focus. i’ll post some more from the film tomorrow.

well if i had read the manual the result would have been less blurry images - the ones you see here are the least blurry ones out of the 36 frames : ). i overlooked the fact that there’s a focusing mechanism on the canonet…thought it was one of those where you don’t need to set the focus. Doh!!. i really like the light and colors of the images though, so i look forward to taking my next roll of film. some of the photos are from last week when i visited my grandmother. happy weekend everyone!
