have you ever tried making jam? yesterday i had my first go at making jam. my favorite jam is with rhubarb and strawberry so i found a recipe for rhubarb/strawberry jam online and took it from there. it’s very easy and quick to make. next time i will try with less sugar though.

spring means lots and lots of greens - to eat and to look at. : )

i’m considering new illustrations and new animals to draw. spring has moved into our apartment in the shape of branches ready to bloom, but outside it’s still freezing cold. in the first photo the content of my pocket since last weekend’s visit to the beach.

i’m still practising my knitting skills and finding it quite fun. so far i have only knitted for little people as it is a lot quicker. i’m trying to find a nice cardigan pattern for myself though.

i used this recipe for the baby cardigan.

we had friends over for dinner tonight and had crayfish for starters. they look spectacular those red fellows and they taste great!

a recent shrift store find

cakes from the celebration of brinja’s shop’s 5th birthday yesterday. boy they were good! my little “garden” has finally come to life - well at least a little bit. small green sprouts have appeared (only the rosemary is still sleeping). hope you’ll have a great friday folks!

some random photos from the apartment i took today. i feel like breaking my habit when it comes to taking photos. i always tend to take very static and no-people-in-sight photos (well you probably have noticed by now). : ) i really want to expand my photographic vision and choice of subject..we’ll see how it goes!
