second last day
2009 is slowly coming to an end. slowly in my world as the days between christmas and new year have been slow and cosy. went to visit my grandmother yesterday - she taught me some knitting tricks and we went for a frosty walk (show you some photos tomorrow) i’m also enjoying the lovely presents i got this christmas, beautiful things like the red milk jug in the first photo with red cups accompanying it. as you can see in the last photo my knitting project is progressing (however slowly). i’m knitting a hand towel in the same fashion as the ones my grandmother makes. never thought it would be that much fun to knit!

I think that these photos are perfect for saying ’so long’ to 2009. It was a beautiful year, but I am also ready for a fresh one.

hej lea. how nice to read your post and the red milk jug is so beautiful…I also starded a little knit project. It is so fun to watch it growing…but your project looks a lot more difficult..happy new year
