the weather has been perfect today - blue sky, sunshine and beautiful colors. NE and i took a walk in the nearby cemetary and ejoyed the warmth and incredibly sharp autumn light. how was your sunday?

- ai: thanks, about the thumb, it was really bad the first couple of days but it is already much better - just glad it wasn’t a very bad sprain, as you really need your thumb in everything you do!

the weather does look perfect! especially the light. my sunday is just starting out, and i have to work. i’m hoping to have 15 minutes of the day to walk around with my camera.

i cannot imagine a light more different than what we have these days. the sun stands low on the sky, but we have a heat wave that makes the light seem blurry, soft golden. i wish i could breath in some of that clear crisp air :)
