bird postcard # 3

late last night i began drawing swallows and had in mind a graphic pattern of swallows all in the same shape but turned in different angles. this is what came out of it. i often wonder about whether my drawings should be more detailed…so i’m not sure if this one is finished yet or just a sketch.

the next drawings coming up will by of an owl and one with penguins in it - two of my favorite bird species. have a great tuesday!

The swallows are lovely - I think you must keep it just like this - don’t add to it - it is perfect!
PS I really love the style of your blog with the big photos - I just can’t seem to get my pics bigger in blogger - I have two side strips and the left hand one is just empty - but how to get rid of it?
