i did it again…

i bought some porcelain today at the thrift store i didn’t really really need. but then it was a very tempting offer - 4 bing & grøndahl soup plates in good condition and at a fair price. i also got a checkered shirt (another thing i keep buying these days) i’ve always had a soft spot for porcelain which means that i have gathered quite the collection of different kinds.

I can totally relate to this porcelain disease! Every time I go to the thrift store (there might be 50 within 15 minutes of my house) I come home with some plate or bowl…..bad/good habit? Sometimes its a total treasure and you really can’t pass it up, which is what those look like!

i love seeing all your thrift store finds! this plate is especially beautiful and delicate.

    ugh!

i have the SAME problem. old porcelain always tugs at my heart strings.
i have such a hard time leaving it in the store once i find is charming and beauiful.
then there is only one solution - put it in my over-filled kitchen shelves!

Utrolig fede billeder du viser frem her. Meget inspirerende!!

chelsea: your lucky to have that many thrift stores around! about it being an either good or bad habit….i would say mostly good! : ) hehe but it can get out of hand i have to admit.

anna: thanks - i felt kind of lucky to find such nice plates in a thrift store

kristi: yes that’s the only solution! - one more to jam into the kitchen cabinet.

cecilie: yep they are pretty lovely…most times in’m not really that much into pink flowers but these are okay.

outi: it seems like porcelain is a soft spot for many : ) i probably will be banned from buying more soon…

kerri: hello kerri! thanks for commenting - i look forward to have a look at your blog.
