i like my yashica FR1

the first role of film from my newly purchased yashica FR1 camera is back!. in general im happy with the outcome allthough it seems to have some light leak issues (yep that second photo)…i guess it’s a matter of duct tape. these are all taken in my neighbourhood. tomorrow i will post some of the ones i took on my trip to the mainland…i can already now warn you that there will be more blossoming trees, bushes etc…
thanks for all your good luck wishes in the previous post! it really means a lot : )

I’m happy about your trees and bushes you’ll post!
we were waiting for spring for so many months and commented never ending winter often in our blogs - I think there are not enough spring photos until now…

I LOVE the way these came out! The light leak in the second photo lends a nice peach-y color actually I think. : )

Ohhhh! The tired one is sooooo great!
I love it! it seams that it is part of the Narnia!Did you see this film?

ritva: : )
jeanette: i’m glad to hear that you haven’t grown tired of spring photos - neither have i…and yes - we talked and talked and talked about spring and now it’s finally here! : )
kiwi: thanks - i like it so far also
pia: hello pia! thanks for commenting. it seems like the yashica fr 1 is a rather unknown camera…read on flickr that the model in general has problems with the frame counter…just had to wait and see : )
allison: i agree the peachy color looks great
anna: thanks anna i like it too, but some of the light leak photos came out not as nice…so i think even though i like it in this photo i should duch tape it

ali: your comment came in just as i finished my replies : ) thanks i’m glad you like them. i like that first one too - has a kind of nostalgic feel to it - because of the old van i guess and the sun’s reflections.
parisa: i see what you mean! i haven’t seen the film but my parents read the narnia book out loud for me and my brother and i really liked the story. should see the film as i quite like fantasy films like lord of the rings, harry potter etc.
