seven random facts about me

mette at ungtblod tagged me with a challenge of naming seven random facts about me. here we go!
1. i have worn glasses since the age of 2 and it feels like me and my glasses are like one. the first thing i do in the morning is to take them on and the last thing i do when i go to bed is to take them off. (note: the ones in the picture were red and at the time i found them very fashionable)
2. i have only been ouside europe once. i went to china two years ago and that was the biggest traveling experience to date. at some point i have to revisit shanghai.
3. i like messing with webdesign and codes, i guess because it’s fun to build and create things and because i like the challenge and the detective work in finding the right piece of code you need.
4. i’m a huge fan of animals..almost all of them (insects not included) when i was little i used to watch every animal program on tv. at some stage i really wanted a horse, a dog or just any animal really. i ended up getting two rabbits(one of them had a condition and therefore always smelled of vet) i also had an aquarium and a lot of those insects that look like wooden sticks (??) not really the ideal pet : )
5. my favorite food is pancakes and i bake some whenever i have the opportunity
6. i don’t like swimming or being under water. it’s not like i’m afraid of it, but i just prefer being on land. i really like photographing animals under water though and can stand for hours at the zoo trying to get a good shot. (exactly like you described it mette )
7. i grew up in a collective of 15 families. we each had our own house but had dinner together in a common house on all week days. i remember it as being a fun childhood with children at all ages to play with. my parents still live there. (don’t have an image - sorry)

I think you grew into the glasses very nicely.
When I was a kid I also got bigger clothes than I needed so I could grow in it.
Sometimes I am amazed how smart parents can be!
