weekword

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

i’m rather early with my weekword contribution this week but won’t be able to post tomorrow.

alexandra came up with this week’s word - HOME. when i found out i imediately felt like making a patterne out of small houses.

also participating is: veja cecilia, aimee, jenna, fruenswerk2, andrea tachezy, nathalie et cetera, esti, kristi, sandra dieckmann, aris and tiny red

i’m going to spend this weekend in a summerhouse on the west coast - i can’t wait! there’s no internet connection and i’m not sure whether i should leave my computer at home and fully embrace analogue living or get some work done on the computer…anyway i’ll take pictures for sure! have a nice weekend!

weekword - kind of late!

Friday, May 8th, 2009

veja cecilia came up with this weeks weekword - storm. i’m a little bit late with my contribution. i decided to do an alternative version of an old drawing of mine. and also add one of NE’s videos, taken this wednesday when we visited the abandoned buildings. it’s a video with storm in it! sort of. note: it’s a very short video - about 10 sec.

this weeks participants are; Aimee, Esti, FruensWerk2, Tiny Red, Alexandra Hedberg and veja cecilia

have a great weekend everyone!

easter coming up

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

inspired by mieke willems lovely easter window display i felt like drawing a small easter drawing. today has been really unproductive for my part and i figured i might as well just embrace my inefficiency and draw a little bit. i think it came out a little bit cheasy…well here it is - happy (soon to be) easter blog readers!

note: i’m on my way to a dinner so i will reply to your comments in the previous post when i get home

almost done

Friday, February 20th, 2009

i’m almost finished editing the illustrations that i made for the small exhibition in brinja’s shop. they will be printet tomorrow - exiting! i’m listening to the song “carousel” by iron & wine. the best stay up late song (okay actually it’s only 23.30 so not that late yet but a good song anyway)

a lovely blog i became aware of a while ago and keep coming back to   atlantic treefox

panda

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

as i mentioned in the previous post the birch tree drawing didn’t really seem right and visiting the blog elsewhere by louise i suddenly knew what to do with it. she has painted the most adorable panda and i thought that maybe a panda was just what the drawing needed! let me know if you prefer the squirrel version.

a movie, a squirrel and a cake

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

tonight we watched the not so good disaster movie “the day after tomorrow”. the excuse being that we were sick and therefore not able to watch anything too complicated. meanwhile i tried to finish a drawing i have been working on with a squirrel in a birch tree forest. still struggling with the squirrel. we also got a very nice surprise this evening. our neighbour dennis knocked on the door and handed us two pieces of freshly baked delicious cake (in danish called hindbærsnitter) what a nice surprise. everybody should have this kind of neighbours!

work in progress
